Dealer Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Oceansix Dealer program. These Terms and Conditions outline the guidelines for our valued dealers in South Africa. Our aim is to keep things professional yet friendly – we want to be easy to do business with while ensuring a successful partnership. By registering as an Oceansix dealer or placing orders with us, you agree to the terms below. (No formal signature is required, but continued participation signifies acceptance.) Please note that we may update these terms on our website from time to time without prior notification, so we encourage you to check back periodically.

Eligibility and Dealer Status

  • Oceansix may request documentation during the application process to verify eligibility.
  • If any key information you provided changes, it is your responsibility to inform us promptly.
  • Dealer status is granted at Oceansix's discretion and may be revoked if these terms are violated.

Stock Requirements

  • Dealers are expected to stock:
    • At least two (2) different product categories.
    • At least five (5) different product groups.
  • Dealers should maintain inventory from the required categories.

Ordering and Dealer Activity

  • Initial Minimum Order: R 1,200.
  • No Ongoing Minimums: No fixed minimum for subsequent orders.
  • Regular Activity: Accounts inactive for 3 months may be deactivated.

Pricing and Confidentiality

  • Wholesale pricing and trade information must remain confidential.
  • Unauthorized sharing may result in immediate termination.
  • Dealers set their own retail prices.

Orders, Payment, and Credit Terms

  • Payment is required before shipping unless credit terms are approved.
  • Ownership transfers only once full payment is received.

Shipping and Delivery

  • No in-person collections.
  • Orders ship to registered addresses only.
  • Free shipping applies to qualifying orders, excluding heavy items.

Use of Oceansix Branding and Marketing

  • Only approved branding may be used.
  • Dealers must not misrepresent their relationship with Oceansix.

Product Restrictions and Special Items

  • Items marked "Not for Retail" may not be sold.
  • Unauthorized sales channels may result in termination.

Privacy and Data Use

  • Dealer information is used for internal purposes only.
  • Confidential data is never sold or shared.

Breach and Termination

  • Dealers are typically given 60 days to remedy breaches.
  • Severe breaches may result in immediate deregistration.

Changes to These Terms

  • Terms may be updated and posted on the website.
  • Continued participation indicates acceptance.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • Governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  • Disputes fall under South African courts.
